WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH "THE DESIGN PLACE' IN TRURO, CORNWALL, WE DESIGNED THE NEW GUIDES AVAILABLE TO ALL RESIDENTS AND VISTORS TO TRURO CITY. THIS PROJECT WAS COMPLETED FOR THE TRURO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
CLIENT
The City of Truro Chamber of Commerce is the oldest and largest group of businesses
represented by a Chamber of Commerce in Cornwall. Members are invited to regular
meetings with presentations of issues relating to members and their businesses.
They provide all major decisions for Cornwall's only City.
OBJECTIVE
To design a new 'City of Truro Guide', for 2008. This guide is a 38-page guide to the City,
which is available to anyone through local Tourist Information Centres across the South
West. It can also be obtained online through the Chamber's website.
SOLUTION
We designed a completely new and more modern approach to the guide. Designing the
cover through to all of the pages it was a big improvement on previous years and fulfilled
the criteria needed for the Truro Chamber of Commerce. The guide is still available today
and gives information for tourists and locals to find out what the main attractions and
goings on in the City are. Also events are listed within the guide.
We also designed 2 other brochures for the Chamber, the 'Places to Stay' and 'Parks and
Gardens' guides for the City. These are again available at all Tourist Information Centres in
the area.
