WE WORKED WITH SPRINGFIELDS FUN PARK AND PONY CENTRE IN 2007 TO DESIGN THE NEW 2008 BROCHURE FOR THE PARK BASED IN CORNWALL, UK. ALSO WE DESIGNED ADVERTS FOR MAGAZINES AND DIRECTORIES.
CLIENT
Springfields is a pony centre where children can ride, groom and even bottle feed the animals.
There is also go-karts, rowing boats, giant slides, death drop slides and trampolines for active
youngsters. Train rides around the park, Toddler Play Area, Pets Corner for the little ones.
Hands on animal action or a take a walk along the woodland trail.
OBJECTIVE
Another contract Oracle Design's director fulfilled for 'The Design Place' in Truro, Cornwall,
as part of a contract. Main objective was to design a newly re-designed tri-fold brochure
for the tourist attraction in Cornwall. Once the brochure is designed, to then use the new
design and branding to create adverts for Cornwall directories and magazines.
SOLUTION
As the main visitors to the attraction are tourists to Cornwall and mainly young children we
designed the brochure to aim for the younger audience and kids who will be the one's who
talk their parents into going to the attraction. With this is mind, we made everything very
colourful and bright to attract their attention.
The exterior of the brochure included a flouresent yellow to get the attention and the
interior was divided into 3 separate colours, blue, red and green. Included a lot of imagery
and big titles. Also an easy to read time table to see what and when events are going on.
As part of this project, we also designed 3 seperate adverts to be featured in magazines,
brochures and directories across the UK and Cornwall.
