New studio, new team & new website.

What a few years it’s been, time flies when you’re having fun, well in our case rushed off our feet. It’s been a time to reassess, rebuild, develop and grow. Oracle Design is coming up to its 17th birthday in business and with powers unforeseen, like Covid, it gave us the opportunity to make some big changes for a better future.

New Oracle Design Studio

In 2021 we decided to leave our previous studio (The Old Grammar School) where we were located for around 8 years, for new beginnings at a brand new, purpose-built studio. Located close to the home of our founder Andrew, built on land adjacent to his home. Now, this may sound like the usual shed in the garden, but it is far from it, the building is 15m long and provides ample space for the team, bigger and more light and airy than the previous, to keep our creative juices flowing. Also within touching distance of the Atlantic Ocean, it’s an amazing space to work from. The new studio build is focussed on the environment, built to the latest standards, running off 100% renewable energy provided by 16 solar panels, highly insulated and highly efficient.

New Website

We have just launched our brand new website too. Something that’s developed over years, something which should have been completed a long time ago… But, as it is at the heart of the business and always will be, our clients always come first. We have been simply too busy to get this over the line for 2 years and finally, it’s done, so take a look around, find some new offerings and see some of the great work we have been doing… more of this will be getting uploaded soon… and enjoy. This website is just the start, lots of changes will be happening in the coming months with showreels, animations, updated projects and new clients. We’ve looked back and worked with over 300 clients through the years and only mentioned 10% of this on our website, hopefully, now we can begin to show off the huge portfolio of work we do and what you’ve been missing, watch this space.

New Team

The roots of our business have not changed, but our team has expanded and developed during the last 2 years also.

Designers

Our founder and lead designer Andrew still runs the show. Alongside the support of our designer Jamin, that much has not changed.

Web Developers

However, we have a new lead web developer, Ian, bringing more experience than ever before in this area, working with some of the biggest clients around, along with Coca-Cola and Cancer Research UK, website design and build have taken a big leap under Oracle. Alongside Ian, we still work with Andrew to support some of our client accounts and another new face is working with us, John, who focuses on the more nitty gritty side of development and back-end web builds.

Animation

New animator and illustrator Pete, working for The Eden Project in his previous role, can bring your logo, icons or graphics to life, illustrating and animating your next explainer video or making your showreel pop.

Digital Assistant

Our new digital guru is joining us in October 2022 to offer support for us and our ever-growing client roster, content, social, web support and photo will be the tasks at hand.
